Katie is a graduate from the University of Findlay with a bachelors degree in Equine Business Management. She has been working with horses for nearly 20 years with a background in showing hunter/jumpers. At a young age she was hired on as a catch rider for pony hunters, and there she began learning how to train on green ponies. In college she was a member of the Fresno State Equestrian team where she won the 2004 Zone Champion flat rider and secured the team to a National qualification. Throughout college Katie had the opportunity to work for exceptional trainers from around the country. She has ridden under the instruction of world known instructors such as show jumping legend George Morris and dressage expert Roberta Williams, wife of U.S. Team Rider George Williams. She has been giving lessons for the past 7 years to all levels of  riders, from beginners to the experienced competitors. She has trained, taught or worked with horses and riders who have gone on to the most prestigious shows in the Nation, including the USEF Pony Finals in Lexington KY, The Washington International Horse Show, The Pennsylvania National Horse Show, and others. Katie has taken every day back-yard horses and turned them into top level show horses. If you are looking to take your horse to the next step, look no further!
